Measuring 166 mm wide by 171 mm high, the one-size design accommodates a wide range of hoof and horseshoe sizes. It can be used with or without hoof packing, with Craftwork Ortho-Putty recommended for optimal pressure distribution The flat base with integrated frog platform stabilizes the hoof and is particularly suitable for horses with sensitive or thin soles.

To apply the pad, first check the orientation (“GROUND SIDE”). Position the shoe, mark the clip areas, and trim the pad as needed. Shape the pad to its final form, including the heel area. After cleaning and drying the hoof, apply frog treatment if desired. Mix equal parts of Craftwork Ortho-Putty and apply to the frog area. Fix the shoe with one nail per side, allowing the horse to weight-bear so the putty spreads evenly. Remove excess putty, secure the remaining nails, and finish the shoeing as usual.
