Healthy hooves and claws – key to mobility

To stay healthy, horses and cattle must be able to move freely and without pain.

Cracks, chips, splits or holes caused by foreign objects in the horn of the hoof or claw often lead to infections such as White Line Disease, thrush or seedy toe (hollow wall syndrome).

These defects are usually not illnesses in the medical sense but result from poor hygiene and disrupted horn growth. Effective treatment must both eliminate harmful microorganisms and promote healthy horn regeneration.

Carré Horn Pads – targeted care for horn damage

Carré Horn Pads are special fleece pads soaked in the oil-based treatment solution Al Co Cid-Liquid.

They are ideal for treating:

• Cracks, splits and holes in hoof or claw horn
• Damage in the frog area
• Seedy toe, thrush and White Line Disease
